My heartfelt sympathies to the friends and families of those young people!

So meaningless it renders the mind numb!

Anti-depressants are not the way to go either, sometimes they just make a person worse, its generally better to let them recover by themselves. Going out and playing sports or listening to music and talking to friends would be a better solution...

I really think that all of these mass murders are getting out of hand. The pressures of college and high school even are really high and I think something should be done to limit the stress.

In the end, i believe he was mostly if not completely responsible and depression should not be a major excuse, although it may have destroyed his rational thinking he could have easily gone to talk to someone or go outside and do an activity.
to be honest, i've been depressed for 3 years now. i talked to psych's and all of the sort, really did nothing. i talked to people, did activities, did sports..nothing helped. recovering on your own isn't exactly *easy*

I recommend listening to City and Colour. It's hard to imagine where I would've been without him and his music.

I'm glad you think you're a psychologist, but you don't know what it's like to be depressed.

A sad thing about this is FOX (surprise surprise) got that anti video games jackass on tv (Thomson or something?) and he was telling the world it was because the kid played violent video games when FOX didn't know jack about the kid except his name.
